Move fridge & washing machine. Pull up old laminate flooring (damaged from leak so very loose). Lay underlay. Fit (will include cutting some laminate to size) of 8mm floorboards. Click & fit the floor boards together. One section under where the washing machine is that’s under the worktop but otherwise only goes upto the edge of the cabinets.

Title: Laminate flooring assessment and quotation (N1) I'm looking for an experienced laminate flooring installer to visit my flat in N1 to assess the work and provide a quotation before installation. The flooring area is approximately 22m² and includes: Front hallway Internal hallway Main living/sleeping room The existing vinyl floor is currently in place and I would ideally like to retain it as the underlay if suitable. There is: One small tear in the vinyl. One area where the vinyl lifts slightly. During the visit, I'd like you to: Assess whether the existing vinyl is suitable to lay laminate over. Advise whether any floor preparation is required. Confirm the amount of laminate, beading and threshold strips needed. Recommend any additional materials I should purchase. Explain the installation process and expected timescale. Provide a fixed quotation for the installation. Property information: First-floor flat. No lift. No on-site parking (paid parking available nearby). Please only apply if you have experience installing laminate flooring. I'd appreciate photos of previous work and any relevant reviews. I'd like the assessment completed as soon as possible, with the flooring installation to follow shortly afterwards.

Approx 250 sq ft (kitchen and living room floor) needs sanding and new finish. The Kitchen, Living room and hallway are the areas with wood flooring. As you can see it isn't in a terrible state but may need retouching in some areas, also the areas under the white goods have never been varnished. Just to note that this is an old floor plan so as you can see from the pictures, there are now no walls between the kitchen and living room and the hallway, however the dimensions would be correct.
