Description: Experienced handyman/data installer needed for 2-3 hour job at Chinatown Melbourne CBD What to Do: Mount the TP-Link ER701-5G-Outdoor 5G router outside the shop using the provided full kit: wall mount bracket, pole option, L-bolts, self-tapping screws, wall anchors, hose clamps, screwdriver – pick best non-obstructive spot (e.g., pillar/awning ~3m high). Photos of exterior attached. Run 20m Cat6 cable (I'll supply) along ceiling path from mount entry point all the way to office area. Neatly secure (clips/ties), hide from public view where possible (stairs/edges). Connect: Router LAN to Cat6 via included short Ethernet; terminate Cat6 ends with RJ45 jacks (supply if needed); plug in PoE adapter indoors. Test: Power up, insert my SIM, check 5G signal/speed/ping to office. Access/Details: Stairs/ceiling only – no ladders/roof. Low-voltage data job, no electrician required. Timing: Flexible. Experience with routers/network cabling a must (share examples/reviews).

Set up IT equipment for a new store (1 full-day job). Scope of work: 1. Connect and set up the internet modem, and patch the existing data points to the network switch. 2. Install and configure 3 mini PCs, including wireless keyboard/mouse and monitors (two monitors mounted on VESA mounts). 3. Connect one preconfigured IP phone. 4. Connect a network printer and install drivers on all computers. 5. Set up 3 TV boxes and configure the TVs. 6. Connect 2 EFTPOS machines. 7. Connect the CCTV system to the network. 8. Connect a Bluetooth speaker to one computer. 9. Handle any other IT-related tasks required on the day. This is a full-day job. We are looking for someone who can help us with our local IT jobs. Detailed instructions and requirements will be provided via email once the job is assigned.

Have a Telstra 5G router which appears to not be broadcasting a SSID.... Its at an Airbnb the guest has already attempted to do a hard reset but I'm not sure if that was successful...
