A user is experiencing extremely slow upload speeds (0.34 Mbps) on their Lenovo Yoga Pro 9 laptop when connected to the office network. While download speeds exceed 300 Mbps, the upload speed drops drastically after an initial speed test. The issue only occurs in the office space (located on the lower level of a house using a Telstra NBN router and booster). When the laptop is used at home, upload speeds work normally (~20 Mbps). Additionally, other computers in the same office network achieve normal upload speeds (40+ Mbps), indicating the problem is specific to this laptop on that network.

I want to run two Ethernet cables starting from my existing ceiling router to a space further down the hallway. It’s possible to jump between the downlight holes but the jump from the first ceiling to the second has a gap where existing cabling has gone over which is hard to reach. Might need to do a small cut in the ceiling near the to fish through the small transition gap. I’m happy to help fish on the other side. I also have ceiling paint to patch a hole if need be but ideally no need for any holes.
