I’m looking for someone experienced with DIY/handyman work to install a curtain rod above my main/front door to help reduce draughts and improve insulation. **The job involves:** - Measuring the space above the door and determining the correct length for the curtain rod. - Cutting/sawing the curtain rod I already have so that it fits the required width. - Securely installing the curtain rod above the door. - Hanging the curtain onto the rod. - Ensuring everything is securely fitted and the curtain can open/close properly. - Please bring your own suitable tools and fixings if required. I already have: - The curtain rod, purchased from B&Q. - The curtain that needs to be hung. Please see below photos of the door, the area above the door, and the curtain rod with brackets so you can assess the job before accepting. **Ideally looking for someone who has experience with curtain/blind installation and drilling into wooden wall surfaces. Please let me know if you have any questions about the job or need any additional measurements/photos. Thank you!

Hi! I’m looking for someone to install a roller blind and a curtain rail above the same window. Both need to be drilled into the wall, so you’ll need to bring a drill. You may also need a small step ladder, as we don’t have a sturdy chair suitable for standing on. Thanks!

Please quote with your earliest availability Bedroom venetian blind The blind was fully raised. It was pulled down by the bottom rail to clean it, and the lift cord came unhooked. The cord is stuck inside the blind, and the blind has dropped onto the floor. Open the head box and reattach the cord so the blind stays on the window and raises and lowers properly. Quote to Replace the blind only if the cord cannot be reattached. Kitchen drawer A glass saucepan lid is fused inside one kitchen drawer, beside the stacked pans. It does not move when pulled. It looks as if it has been glued in place. The lid is circled on the photograph.
