* Construct a new suspended/plasterboard ceiling throughout the hallway, approximately 100mm below the existing ceiling. * Supply all materials required for framing, plasterboard and installation. * Cut openings for four recessed spotlight fittings as per attached lighting plan (light fittings supplied) * Remove and make safe an unused wall thermostat/control and associated redundant wiring. * Re-route wiring within the new ceiling void as required and connect new lighting circuit. * Skim and finish the new ceiling ready for painting. Please provide a quote including labour and materials, and advise whether electrical certification will be provided if applicable. There appears to be an unused boss connection already moulded into the stack (photo available). I only need the boss opened and the correct 40mm adaptor fitted/sealed. I’m looking for someone experienced in decorating/plaster repairs to make good and repaint two areas that were damaged by a water leak from the flat above. The source of the leak has now been fixed and the affected areas have been dry for several months. Work required: * Assess the damaged areas and recommend the appropriate repair. * Remove any loose paint, filler or plaster. * Make good the surface as required. * Apply stain-blocking treatment if needed. * Repaint to leave a neat finish. Affected areas: 1. Bathroom ceiling corner above shower (approximately 0.5m²). 2. Wall in adjacent room with peeling/blown paint and minor surface damage (approximately 1m²).
