Flat in London N1 5FF. I need four Silent Gliss SG 6840 hand-drawn tracks ceiling-fixed with SG 3825 clamps at max 500 mm centres into plasterboard over a concrete soffit. Two runs: 285 cm (bedroom window) and 500 cm (window plus door), each with two parallel tracks 120 mm apart. The 500 cm tracks must be one-piece, no joins. Please hang my ready-made pencil-pleat curtains, take down the existing vertical-blind headrails and leave them with me, and leave both ends of each track accessible as I’ll clip SwitchBot Curtain 3 U-rail robots on afterwards.

Looking for a handyman for a small job - removing an old blind fitting and installing a new bamboo blind. Only the top section/fitting attached to the wall remains and needs removing but I have high ceilings so it’s hard for me to reach and remove it. I have a telescopic ladder you could use or bring your own. The new blind is a simple bamboo blind that hangs from a couple of hooks at the top of the wall, and just needs installing along with the rope attachment. you would not need special expertise to fit it. I’m looking for someone with basic handyman experience who has the right equipment to work at height. Thank you :)
