Dimmer switch has stopped working. I have ordered replacement. Also some Switches in kitchen don’t appear to be working/ were not sure what they are attached to.

Replace 2 double light switch faceplates. Replace 2 two-gang socket faceplates. Optional additional job: If you're also handy with general DIY, I need 2 hammock brackets securely fitted to an external brick garden wall. I'll supply all replacement faceplates, the Ring doorbell, wedge, brackets and fixings. I'm looking for someone experienced and suitably qualified to carry out the electrical work safely. I'd prefer a fixed price for the complete job rather than an hourly rate, so please provide your best all-inclusive quote for the work listed, including labour and any call-out charges. Need to install 3x electric sockets in the loft next to the light bulbs. There is light and a switch in the loft. Below the loft is a cupboard which has a switch and there are cables running upwards to the loft as can be seen in the pics

I’m looking for a qualified/experienced electrician to replace my existing vintage light switches with smart WiFi switches. There are 3 x 1-gang switches and 1 x 3-gang switch to be replaced. The existing wiring appears not to have neutral wires at the switch locations, so the appropriate capacitors/bypass modules may need to be fitted where required. I already have all the smart switches, capacitors and a spacer available. I can provide photos of the existing switches and wiring before the job if helpful. Looking for someone experienced with smart switch installations who can safely install, test and configure the switches.

Installing two electrical sockets in bedroom

I’m looking for a qualified/registered electrician who can also carry out the associated installation work. The jobs are: • Install a new electrical socket/connection on the wall above the hob to accommodate an extractor fan, and then install and connect the extractor fan. • Install a new electrical socket/connection high up on the living-room wall to accommodate a wall-mounted TV. • Install the TV bracket securely onto the living-room wall and mount the TV onto the bracket. The wall is mortar/brick, so the appropriate heavy-duty drill, masonry bits and fixings will be required. Please only apply if you have the suitable equipment and experience for securely mounting a TV onto this type of wall. • Install a 350cm IKEA VIDGA curtain track inside a high-up curtain pelmet. The pelmet is approx. 340cm wide and 312cm high. I have purchased 3 x IKEA VIDGA single track sets. The tracks will need to be measured, cut to the required length, joined together and securely installed inside the pelmet. Once installed, the curtain also needs to be put onto the track. The high-up work will require a suitable tall ladder/platform and appropriate equipment. Please only apply if you are suitably qualified and experienced to carry out the electrical work, including testing/certification as required. I’m looking for a qualified electrician for several small electrical jobs in my flat. Ideally I’d like to have these completed together, depending on the quote. 1. Convert 3 existing single sockets to flush-mounted double sockets I have the new double socket faceplates already. The existing openings will need to be enlarged/chased out and suitable double back boxes fitted into the wall, so the finished sockets sit flush with the wall like standard sockets. I do not want surface-mounted boxes. 2. Remove 2 hardwired electric radiators and replace the connection points with flush-mounted double sockets There are two electric radiators currently hardwired into fused connection points. I’d like both radiators electrically disconnected and removed, then, where suitable, the existing connection points converted to double sockets. The replacement sockets should also be flush-mounted into the wall, not surface-mounted, including any chasing or enlargement required. I have the double socket faceplates already. I’ve attached a photo showing the existing radiator connection. Please check that the existing circuits are suitable before converting the radiator points to sockets. I will supply all visible socket faceplates. Please include any back boxes, cable and other installation materials required. Please include labour, testing and any required electrical certification in your quote. If possible, please give me: • a total price for completing everything together • a rough breakdown for each part, as I might do some of the work separately depending on the total Free underground parking is available on site.

We would need an electrician to come fix the light switches in our hallway, which have stopped working. I suspect this is due to a defective dimmer. I have 1 spare dimmer and 1 spare switch, which can be installed if needed (see pictures).
