The mechanisms (lever/cable) that allows me to use the lever to move my driver's seat and passenger seats forwards and backwards have broken, meaning I can't use the lever on the top of the seats.

The grille works if I wire directly to the battery but if I wire as I think it should be from the side lights it won’t trigger on the ignition and when it does it flickers and only half illuminates, therefore, I must be connecting it incorrectly.
