Dishwasher is in good condition. Just moved in, ran it on a cycle, it filled up okay but as it started to drain it made a shreaking,pressure building noise then it flooded the kitchen. It came out of the pipes in the cupboard next to the dishwasher. A (v good) handyman has looked at it, apparently the trap is clear but they couldn't find the blockage. The water is coming out the back okay but there's some blockage further along...?
