We’re looking to get a rolling library ladder installed as a way to access our mezzanine – this ladder will need to be able to be used then should be able to sit flush against a wall when not in use. The mezzanine is currently only accessible via a fold down ladder. We also need a balustrade to edge of the mezzanine off the space so that it’s safer to be up there. Hi we have had one section of our staircase balustrade come out of the wall. The cause of this was the builder had not used a long enough screw and the bricks in the wall being very old and brittle. We need the balustrade to be fixed back onto the wall. As mentioned the wall is a little brittle so we need to find someone who can solve this problem so the balustrade doesn’t come out again.
