We have some broken floor tile and want them replaced. The standard tile pieces are 30 X 30cm. Looking at have the strip of broken one replaced (circled red). We have had some tiling completed and need about an inch taken off the bottom of 2 timber doors so that they can be re-hung. Not a huge job, but I don’t have the tools to do it.

A porcelain benchtop is to be installed on top of a bricked inbuilt BBQ area. We need the area below the stone prepped to provide a level and stable base for the stone to sit on. Scope of works: Check the surface with a long straight edge or level to identify any high spots. Grind these down using a grinder with a diamond disc or similar. Install aluminium angle along the wall edges and secure with hammer fixings to form the base. Once the benchtop is in place, any gaps or unevenness in the base will be highlighted.
