The waterfall side of my benchtop is developing a crack along the joint. It appears that the adhesive bond between the two pieces is failing. Hello: I recently had new floor tiles installed in a small bathroom. Around the shower floor drain the tiles had to be hand cut to fit the waste. The finish around the drain and along a few grout lines is a bit rough/uneven (see photos). The installer advised that this was unavoidable due to the cuts required around the drain. Before accepting that, I’m hoping to get a second opinion and see whether the finish can be improved — for example through tidying the grout lines, re-grouting, or another solution. Ideally I’d like someone with tiling experience who can: • Assess whether the finish can be improved • Tidy up the grout lines around the drain if possible • Suggest any practical improvements The bathroom is otherwise fully finished, so I’m hoping for a targeted cosmetic improvement rather than major re-tiling.
