SCOPE OF WORK • Remove the existing non-functioning evaporative cooler from the roof. • Make the existing cooler opening ready for proper closure. • Cover the opening with Colorbond metal roofing sheet, which will be supplied by us. • Properly install, secure, flash and seal the Colorbond so the roof is completely weatherproof. • Ensure there are no gaps or areas where rainwater can enter. • Check the surrounding roof area and completed work to make sure everything is properly secured and sealed. • Take before and after photos of the completed work. • Leave the work area clean and remove the old cooler from the roof. I need an experienced insulation installer to fit 42m² of Earthwool R6 ceiling batts in a roof space in Woodend (which is the attached garage).Batts are already on site. The rest of the ceiling is generally well insulated but a couple of gaps need to be filled. Ie some odd batts added and repositioned. Roof space details: • Tight access with angled trusses • Some areas require careful movement as tighter access near wall plate edge • AC and DC solar cabling present in parts of ceiling. • No electrical work required — just careful placement of batts and appropriate clearances • Manhole access 370 * 520 mm. Distance to uninsulated area is about 4 m from manhole. Full bag will not fit through manhole in one go. What I need: • Correct installation of R6 batts across 42 m² • Batts cut neatly around trusses, cable runs, and lights • Maintain safe clearance around all electrical cabling and junction boxes. • Photos of cabling areas before/after installation (preferred) • Clean, professional work You must have: • Experience installing ceiling insulation • Ability to work safely around electrical cabling • Good reviews for roof-space or insulation jobs in the past Timing: Flexible — ideally within the next 2 weeks.
