Old gutters leaking in a few spots - rusted through I think. I can’t afford to completely replace at the moment. I assume that the cost will depend on what needs doing - hence my wild guess on budget.

The damage is localised but the timber is soft and needs to be cut out and replaced. Scope of work: • Cut back the rotted timber to sound wood. • Replace with treated pine/hardwood (scabbed/sistered onto existing rafter). • Replace fascia board section if needed. • Inspect gutter directly above, reseal any leaks with gutter silicone (or replace a small section if required). • Prime and paint new timber (I’ll supply paint if needed).
