From our building inspection report: The downpipe is not properly connected to the gutter, causing water to flow directly down the brick surface. This has resulted in staining and leaching on the bricks. It is recommended to have a plumber or roofing contractor reconnect the downpipe to the gutter system to ensure proper drainage and prevent further staining or potential damage to the brickwork.
