Gyprock/plaster work

$400

Darlinghurst NSW, Australia

I am installing a new air con system and require a bulkhead and some gyprock patching work to be done. Bulkhead would be an 'add on' (measuring approx 5000 x 800mm) to an existing bulkhead. Patching would also need to be done after air con is installed.

Install a bag rack on my plasterboard wall

$80

Darlinghurst NSW, Australia

26th Mar 2016

I'm keen to have a bag rack in my room but am not really sure how to do it. Pretty sure the wall is plasterboard so am afraid I'll do some damage if I go hell for leather myself. My landlord is cool with me doing it but I want to make sure I do it right. I don't really have tools either so would need someone with a drill and some of those plastic expanding screws.

Various Handyman tasks, including plastering

$300

Darlinghurst NSW 2010, Australia

14th Oct 2016

Hi, I have a list of tasks, for which you will need your own tools and materials. Please ask questions if you need more detail in order to estimate the duration. See photos for extra information. We had a fridge plumbed from a pipe in the ceiling above, which 2 tasks are about: 1. Hide the water pipe in the wall. It is currently running down the surface of the wall, but I'd like it buried in the wall so that it's out of site. The wall is board over render over concrete block, but my guess is the board might be thick enough to hide the pipe, but may need to cut into the render if it isnt. Need to plaster over to finish, but dont need to paint. 2. The 30cm hole in the ceiling is covered by a vent to cover the off valve, but because of the position of the pipe the vent cannot be fitted flush with the ceiling. So, either the pipe needs to be rebracketed higher (so there's room for the vent) or need an alternative cover We have new kitchen cabinetry, which the next two tasks are about: 3. The sink drawer doesnt quite close because the metal frame hits the down pipe. Need a small (maybe 5-10mm) notch cut out of the frame so it can close flush with other cabinets 4. I have a shelf I want to put in on top of the drawer, but it needs a hole cut in it so it can fit around the (same) downpipe And lastly... 5. I have 3x 10cm holes in the ceiling (from where lights were moved) that need patching Thanks, Andrew
