I’m trying to hang a painting (2m wide) in my living room. The wall is made from plasterboard, but behind that is another material (I think) which is much more solid - maybe concrete? As suggested, I tried using drywall anchors to hang the painting, but while screwing them in, I suddenly hit the solid section of wall (which I wasn’t aware of before) and the anchors would not go any further. Unsure of what to do, I removed them and drilled a small pilot hole through the solid bit and tried screwing them back in. They went all the way in this time, but (unsurprisingly) they felt loose in the wall and one started spinning when I put a screw in it. So now I’m just left with two fairly big holes in my wall. I would like to find a way to salvage these holes and use them to hang the painting but I’m not sure of the best method / screw / anchor type to do that. Someone suggested using a toggle bolt in the existing hole, but I also can’t find a cavity behind the wall. I’m sure there is one but I’d rather not make a bigger mess looking for it. If you think you can help, please let me know. Ideally, I’d like the work done tomorrow (Tuesday 30th), in the morning or midday latest. Wednesday could work too. Hi, I have a bit of plaster starting to crumble below the Balcony door, which from my understanding needs to be sealed/stabilized and and patch with plaster. I dont have equipment and materials and this would suit someone with experience (please comment on your experience like plastering, skirting boards, etc).

There is a hole in my plasterboard wall, about 20cm x 5cm (photo attached). I need someone to: • Patch and repair the wall • Sand the area • Repaint to match the existing wall colour The hole is about 1.9m from the floor, so a ladder will be needed. Please bring your own tools and materials.

65inc TV wall mounted on gyprock with internal wall wiring

Need to mound a 42 inch on a gyprock wall, I have purchased the Wall mount from bunnings

I had two built-in in robes removed (eg one in each bedroom). The installer used liquid nails on some elements which took off the wall render where it was affixed. To install at parts of the robe they have also trimmed out the skirting board to make elements fit flush to the internal wall. It would be great to get a quote from you to 1) make good the rendering 2) paint the walls from behind the cupboards to match the new wall paint (I'm happy to supply this) 3) remove the skirting behind these areas where new robes will be coming in) 4) plaster or make good where the skirting is removed to create an even wall surface / no gaps between the walls/ flooring 5) infill a small portion of the skirting on the short wall where the new robe is going in. The removed robe was deeper and the skirting has been cut out at the front so will end prematurely. Would be great to fill this in 6) treat the skirting so it looks like a uniform finish I can send photos etc if the area. I'm not sure where you're located but I'm in Newtown, happy to do a site visit for a quote. My only constraint is I have the new robes arriving on Friday so I would really like to get this done in the next couple of weeks as my house is quite small so I keen to get the robes in and use the storage!!

We need to have a 2.1m half wall plaster repaired at the edges and raised by about 5 cm, so it lines up with our kitchen cabinets for the upcoming stone benchtop installation

Jobs 1 and 2 are simple. Fill the holes with plaster and then paint over. Job 3 is more complex. Cut out the gyprock (may be fire rated gyprock, am not sure), replace-gyprock that square, plaster and paint. We will provide paint. Other materials provided by you.
