The ceiling fan has got a gap around the base plate (which has fallen a bit) and wabbles when on. It feels a bit unsafe and I think it needs to be patched (the gyprock/ plaster) and fan base secured again so it doesn't wabble.

Hi there, I recently had an electrician install additional power points, and to do this they needed to cut a hole in my gyprock wall. They’ve filled the hole, but the finish is quite untidy and hasn’t been painted. I’m looking for someone experienced with gyprock patching, sanding and painting to: • Sand and smooth the repaired section of the wall • Repaint the area with the paint I’ll provide • Do any additional touch-ups needed to make the wall look neat and seamless again. 🧰 Important details: • I already have the matching paint. • I don’t have any tools, so you’ll need to bring your own (e.g. sanding tools, brushes, rollers, drop sheets, etc.). • Wall is standard interior gyprock in a residential home. • Access and parking are easy. Pay more and get a professional. Rushed and was quick to try to leave. He was here for an hour on sanding day. I checked the work and asked him to go over it again (it was much worse than what you see here). He said “it’s because I sanded by hand and without the tool, you learn something new every day” he promised it was fixed. I was not happy with it, but he said he needs to leave to another job. Come paint day, and the true workmanship showed.
