Scope of work: • Remove the existing door and door frame • Build a timber frame inside the doorway • Install acoustic insulation inside the wall cavity • Close both sides with plasterboard • Plaster, sand and paint so it matches the existing wall The final result should look like there was never a door there (flush wall finish). One of the rods holding our curtain track has fallen out of the wall, ripping the plaster down and creating a hole. As the curtains need to be reinstated to the same location, I am after someone to repair and secure the rod back to the wall.
