We're turning a small bedroom into a nursery and need it refreshed in the next week or two. The room is roughly 3m x 2.5m with a sloped ceiling, timber floors and a built-in wardrobe. The job: 1. Remove the existing skirting boards around the whole room (some are cracked and damaged) and replace with new skirting in a simple, modern profile. 2. Extend skirting into the alcove/nook, which currently has none. 3. Patch and repair the crumbling plaster along the bottom of the walls, mainly in the alcove where the skirting is missing. 4. Paint the whole room: walls, ceiling (including the sloped section), new skirting and window frame. As it's a nursery, we'd like low-VOC paint please. Please protect the timber floors and plantation shutters, and work around the NBN box and router on the wall (we can't move these). Looking for someone experienced with wall mounting to complete two small jobs: 1. Secure/hinge a large leaning floor mirror to the wall The mirror is currently leaning against the wall and needs to be safely secured at the top so it cannot fall or tip over. I’d like it to keep its slightly leaning position rather than be mounted completely flat against the wall. The wall appears to be drywall/plasterboard with metal studs. I previously attempted to install the mirror fixing and encountered metal behind the plasterboard, so I’d prefer someone experienced with this type of wall who can determine the correct mounting point and fixings. 2. Wall mount a Dyson cordless vacuum I’d also like the Dyson wall dock/bracket securely mounted so the vacuum can be stored hanging vertically. I have the Dyson mounting bracket/dock. Please bring a drill, stud/wall scanner and any appropriate screws, anchors or fixings required for both jobs.

Looking for an experienced TV installer/handyman who has specific experience with the Samsung Frame TV to wall mount a 75-inch Samsung Frame TV using the Samsung Frame wall mount. Our priority is to achieve a clean, flush-mounted look with as little visible cabling as possible, while also minimising unnecessary holes, screws or modifications to the wall. The existing power/data outlets are located on the wall at approximately TV height, rather than being concealed behind the TV unit/cabinet below. The Samsung Frame also uses a One Connect Box, which will need to be accommodated. Photos attached show: - the Frame TV installed at our previous property; and - the wall and cabinetry at the new property where it is to be installed. We are open to the installer's recommendations on the best way to mount the TV and manage/conceal the One Connect cable and box. We would prefer a solution that balances: - a flush and clean installation with minimal/no visible cables; - minimal drilling, wall penetrations or other permanent modifications; - safe and secure mounting of the 75" TV; and - practical placement of the One Connect Box, ideally concealed in/around the cabinetry if feasible. Please include in your offer how you would propose installing the TV and dealing with the One Connect cable/box given the location of the existing outlets. We already have the Samsung Frame wall mount and also have a general TV mounting bracket available if useful.

Looking for an experienced plasterer/gyprocker to complete a small repair in the ceiling around a recently installed ceiling fan in our master bedroom. As shown in the photo, there is a rectangular section of plasterboard around the ceiling fan which was cut to install a support beam for the fan. The job is to: * Patch/reinstate the plasterboard around the ceiling fan * Tape/set/plaster as required * Sand smooth and flush with the existing ceiling * Leave the repaired area ready for us to prime and paint ourselves * Protect the bedroom/flooring from dust and clean up afterwards Ceiling height is approximately 3.9 metres, so you’ll need to provide your own suitable high ladder/platform/access equipment. A painting I’d stuck on a wall at an apartment I rent fell off and peeled the paint off. We’d like someone to come and plaster and paint the part of the wall that was damaged please. The damage is no bigger than 4cm. I will provide the paint once I go to Bunnings to collect it, or alternatively feel free to suggest an additional price for you to bring it. I don’t know the correct paint colour as yet.
