Need to install a new smart deadbolt lock (Ultraroq bought from Amazon) below the existing door handle. It’s not replacing existing deadbolt.
Brendan came on time and installed a deadbolt very quickly and neatly. The deadbolt model is Ultraloq, and it seems very sensitive to strike alignment. It was all good with manual lock/unlock, so I told Brendan that I’ll do the remaining lock setup. After he left, I finished the lock setup and noticed that the lock is jamming when it’s operated by the app. I ordered a replacement so will see whether it’s a faulty lock, or alignment issues.

My front door with an existing deadbolt door lock needs to be replaced, however the new deadbolt lock will have to be installed in a new spot on the door below the existing one because of size of the smart lock system. So new holes need to be carved/drilled.
