I have purchased a mobile air conditioning unit, however the exhaust needs to be vented out a window, and the windows in our house are crank-opening, rather than sliding, so provided fixtures for sliding window are of no use. Am thinking it may be easiest to take out a window and replace it with plexiglass (or even plywood) that has a hole cut into it for the air conditioning exhaust pipe. Attached are images of the exhaust pipe fixture provided with the air conditioning unit, and the windows (crank above, fixed below) where it is to be installed. Window measurements are 174 x 77 for lower window, 174 x 74 for upper crank. More than happy to have other solutions suggested, will go with whatever works best. Due to movement of the house the window does not close properly at the bottom , will need someone to rehinge the window so it closes correctly

... Simple until I mention that it’s on a window sill 5 metres above the ground. Could be accessible with one of the long extendable painters ladders. Alternatively, access to the window from the outside in is achievable with some crafty manuvers. On the windows I’d like some chicken wire or some sort of protective gauze. ( probably across all of them if possible ) I’m really not too sure what to charge for this job as I’m no professional and this is completely out of my skill sets. Upsides to doing this job. 1. It’s just one glass plane, not all of them. 2. You’ll see life from a whole new perspective up there. 3. I’ll have a cold beer for you upon completelion to commemorate a job well done.

3x 2nd story window frames need repairing. There is some rot on the bottom outside frame which i’d like taken out and replaced.
