I’m looking for a builder/handyman for a small job in Newtown 2042. I need someone to (i) source a new external solid wooden door; (ii) install a dog flap I’ve purchased into the new door; and (iii) take down the old door, and hang the new door (with dog flap) in the existing frame. I’ll also need the lock from the current door moved onto the new door. I will keep the old door in storage. I've attached photos of the existing door/frame/hinges/lock for reference, as well as a picture of the dog flap I've purchased. The lock was recently serviced, and the hinges look to be in good condition - neither should need replacing. The current door is 203.5cm H x 80.5cm W x 4.0cm D. The top edge of the lock unit in the existing door is 122cm high (from the base of the door), and it's inside edge is 9.5cm in from the side edge of the door. Currently there is a pet door on the bottom pane of the patio door. We would like to replace this with glass like the rest of the door.

We bought the bunnings dog door sliding door insert and need help bolting it into place so that we can still use the regulare sliding door as well. We don’t own a power tool and if possible would be great if you could come up with a solution to extend the top. Would love for this to be done in a way that we can remove it easily if needed as well. Thanks!

We have a 2 panel sliding glass door that needs a doggy door installed on one of the panels. I have a photo of the glass markings and apparently it’s tempered safety glass. I need assistance purchasing and installing a temporary cat door in a rental apartment. I haven't purchased a door yet. I require advice as to which product to purchase The sliding door is 1.9m high. Objective is to allow domestic cat access in to a storage room from the bottom of the stairwell which connects the garage in to the house. 1. Remove current internal door between garage and storage room (the one on the right in the photos) from frame 2. Build new door frame flush with the current door between garage and house(the one on the left) and a new small false ceiling over the newly created space. 3.Rehang the door removed in step 1 on the new door frame. 4. Cut out a cat door in the stud wall between the 2 doors.

We have an internal sliding cavity style door between house and garage. We need to install a pet door/flap. We have purchased a couple of options and need a carpenter or handyman to do an install. Its a bit complicated as we don't know if the width will work. Happy pay for a site visit to see if it will work - but ideally want the job completed for $250. if you want the job - suggest we accept and can pay 50 for a site visit to appraise if its do-able.

Install medium dog door on a wooden door. I have the dog door, it is the Hakuna Pets Medium Black Super Tough Pet Door from Bunnings. The door to be installed on is pictured attached. Installation will need to be done anytime between 29 March and 1 April.

We have a wooden sliding door between kitchen and internal garage. We have bought a catflap and need this fitted. Will require hole to be cut and catflap fitted. We also think the door frame will need slots cut to allow the width of the flap - see pictures.
