Install garden lattice

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Hello Airtaskers, I would like a garden lattice to be installed on a brick wall for a friend. The measurements are approx 2m in length by 90cm in height. There are about 6 screws already in the wall, with the wall plug. The job requires the drilling of 8-12 holes into the lattice and fixing it against the wall. With the same amount of screws and wall plugs. Screws and wall plugs are supplied for this job

Fast response and great work. Highly recommend.

Hi Airtaskers, I have a 2400 x 1200 lattice frame with surrounds for my garden balcony that requires assembly. I'd also need some help fixing it to the wall with ratchet strap so as not damage the wall. Shouldn't take more than 30 mins but thought I would put a post on Airtasker to see who's willing to help! Does not require mitre sawing. Prob just a drill, some creativity and (what I am severely lacking) - some knowhow! :) Thanks and hope you're all keeping safe :)

There is a short section of lattice fence (L approx. 230 cm - but you will need to attend and measure exactly, H 50 cm ) on top of a renderred wall dividing properties (in a terrace house light well) which has rotted and collapsed. Handyman /carpenter take down + reattach 3 lattice

$160

Darlinghurst NSW, Australia

29th Sep 2019

Take down 3 large lattice frames in photos. Lattice is mounted in a frame which is held onto main timber supports by about 4-6 stainless steel screws per frame (some painted over) and fairly soft sealer around edges of frame. Leave the frames on same deck for painting. Return to job and reattach painted lattice squares with screws, replace any if needed. Need to bring some ROPE to secure lattice onto pergola while removing frame to stop any risk lattice may fall off deck, SAME for safety when reattaching. Need own tools, inc drill, to remove and reattach screws at end, might need hacksaw, strong knife to cut filler cleanly, spare stainless steel screws. Careful quality job needed. One payment at end. Take down 1st October from 1pm or 2nd October from 8am . Reattach after painting on 15th October (Not 9.30 to 11.30am). Might be earlier to reattach, cannot be later than 15th October.

Very friendly and professional, would definitely use again.

Attach lattice to fence

$300

Redfern NSW, Australia

24th Feb 2021

Hi there! We are looking for someone who can attach two wooden lattice panels to our backyard fence. We already have the lattice panels from Bunnings (they are vertical in the product image but we want to put them up horizontally): https://www.bunnings.com.au/lattice-makers-2400-x-600mm-traditional-lattice-panel_p0189446 This job will involve 3 components: 1. Remove the existing metal brackets and wiring above the fence 2. Cut the second lattice panel to size (our fence is approximately 3.3m long, so one of the lattices will presumably need to be cut to roughly 900cm) 3. Attach both lattices securely to the top of the fence. Our fence is wooden and around 1.8m high. While we have the lattice panels, we don’t have any of the tools or extra components needed to cut them to size and attach them to the fence, so you will need to supply those please. My partner and I have no knowledge in backyard DIY so we welcome your expertise! Please do let us know if there is more involved in this job that we haven’t thought of, or if you have any recommendations for ways to do this. Thanks in advance.

Thiago was quick, professional and friendly. He even installed an indoor wall hook for us at no extra charge. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again.

We need someone with appropriate tools to attach three pieces of lattice to our back fence. The lattice is made to fit on the top. All it will require is a few screws or nails into the brackets on each side of the fence (6 x 2). You'll need a ladder to reach over.

Assemble Lattice Frame and Secure to Wall

$80

Surry Hills NSW 2010, Australia

22nd Jun 2020

Hi Airtaskers, I have a 2400 x 1200 lattice frame with surrounds for my garden balcony that requires assembly. I'd also need some help securing it to the wall so I can hang some pot plants on it. Ideally without damaging the wall. Not sure exactly how we'd approach it but may need a strap of some kind. If a Bunnings run is needed that will be factored into price. Thought I would put a post on Airtasker to see who's willing to help! Does not require mitre sawing. Prob just a drill, a hammer, some creativity and some knowhow! :) Thanks and hope you're all keeping safe :)

Free-Standing Lattice Install

$90

Surry Hills NSW 2010, Australia

6th May 2020

Hello Airtaskers! I have a fun task for a skilled handyperson :) I would like to install a free-standing lattice on my balcony (i.e. without being secured to the wall). Dimensions are 2400mm H x 1200mm W (excluding surround). I plan to hang about 12-15kg of plants off the lattice. The bottom 50cm can be secured against the wall by means of trunk / bricks (see picture); however, as it is a windy area will need some means of securing firmly against the wall (e.g. constructing of a frame). Open to suggestions and creative solutions. Ideally would like the job completed in the next week.
