Visit 1: Make-safe before demolition Kitchen gas: disconnect and safely cap the gas supply to the kitchen. Kitchen water: isolate and cap the water supply and waste lines (sink, dishwasher, etc.) so the cabinetry can be removed. Ensuite: isolate and cap the water supply and waste lines (basin, shower, toilet) ahead of the strip-out. Visit 2: Reconnection after works Reconnect the kitchen gas and water/waste lines. Reconnect the ensuite water/waste lines. Test for leaks and gas soundness. Requirements Must be a VBA-licensed plumber with gasfitting authorisation. We could smell gas and hear some noise so have turned off the meter. Not able to identify whether the meter is causing the leak but is sounded like it.
