I am looking for an experienced floor sanding professional to sand the timber floorboards. Must supply own floor sander, edge sander, sandpaper, dust extraction/vacuum equipment, and tools. Proven experience with timber floor sanding/restoration.

for sanding and refinishing the timber floors in our apartment in Kingsford. The total area is approximately 55m², covering two bedrooms, living/dining area and hallway. We’re hoping for a natural matte finish with minimal sheen, preferably using a water-based coating. We don’t have access to the property until settlement, so I’m happy to provide photos and a floor plan for an initial quote.

Floor sanding required for floorboards. 47sq metres. Part of floor was covered in vinyl tiles the rest has been finished before - see photos. Task includes some areas (not extensive) of gap filling between boards where required and nail/staple hole filling. Lacquering/oiling not required just sanding to a good finish that we can do ourselves.

Change of scope: I was previously looking to get somebody in to resand and polish the floorboards in the main part of our house plus our back deck. But I now just need the back deck done. Deck is approx 6 m × 4 m and needs sanding back to bare timber then oiling All the boards are in good condition apart from one tiny corner of the back deck, which I will have fixed up prior to this work being done.

Side deck including 4 steps 15sqm Rear deck including 3 corner steps and BbQ cabinet- 35sqm. There are 3 decking boards which are cracking away which will need replacing. Overall the deck is on good nick.
