Remove carpet and underlay in a 50sqm room the underlay is glued down onto concrete floor so will need to remove residule glue also

The carpet got ripped when moving stuff and I would like to repair it. Linen cupboard has a piece that could be used. But that would need to be replaced with something else tho.
