I need a tradesperson to fix the pool fence gate hinges at my property in Kew (3101). The pool gate was flagged as non-compliant in a recent safety inspection. The issues are: The gate does not reliably close and latch from any position. The gate does not close properly when a small force (about 250g up or down) is applied near the latch. What needs to be done: Adjust the hinge tension so the gate self-closes and latches every time. If the hinges cannot be adjusted, they will need to be replaced with compliant self-closing pool gate hinges (hinges must be at least 900mm apart or fitted with non-climbable caps). Goal: Make the pool gate fully compliant with AS 1926.1 – 2012 standards so it passes reinspection before the due date. Please provide: A quote for the adjustment or replacement. I have a post box from Bunnings to be installed into a paling fence. I also have a roll of shade cloth to be attached to the inside of double opening driveway gates to help block view of the carport from the street. This is approx 7 metres wide. I have the shade cloth roll.

We require 2x timber gates to be built and then fitted to the two side returns. There is an existing gate at the front of the property, and would like the gates built to match (timber, merbau). Painting is not required. Also, the gates need to be fitted with latches. Hardware (timber, posts, hinges, latches, etc.) to be provided by the builder. Posts are in a monument powder coated metal, would like made to match. Per the photos there are existing gates which are to be removed. On the right side return there are existing posts which can remain in situ, so the gate can be installed onto these posts. On the left side return, 2x new metal posts will need to be supplied and installed. Further, due to the size of the gap, a small fence will need to be constructed, which the post/gate will connect to (you can see a temp installation in place today in the photos). Inspection welcome. Need a wooden gate replaced, as current gate is rotting. Need it to be solid wood so dog can't see out. And also a functional outdoor lock that can be opened from both sides rather than the padlock.

Approx 9.5 metre fence including gate, required. Paling with capping or other material. Remove some bricks and put fence and gate along patio and fence to boundary. Two sides fence , total including gate 9.5 meters..gate preferred with slats .rest privacy fence.

Install an extension to fence. Stable the fence where it is a little loose.

Existing fence needs lattice to be installed on top, to raise overall height. The fence is about 7 meters long. I have 4 * 1.8m panels. Lattice will also need to be painted.
