I have a Technics stereo amplifier SU-5. The volume control is 'scratchy'. If I adjust the volume it doesn't change evenly and speakers drop in and out. Also, the balance slider doesn't seem to work (although that's not a big deal as the two speakers are receiving signal evenly). The turntable, Yamaha P-200, does it's arm too fast. I can work around that by doing it ma dually but if it's an easy fix then it would be good to sort that out as well. Can I get an idea of cost and timing please? I'm in Dingley Village.
