Hi there, I need a hand replacing the batteries in my smoke alarm. There are 2 of them. • The alarms are mounted on the ceiling, and I don’t have a ladder tall enough to reach it. • Should be a quick and simple job for someone with a ladder.

One Circuit (no heavy load) kept tripping. It was slightly warm to the touch. Now, after tripping six times in the last 90 minutes, there is no power to the appliances, even though the switch is on. And it is no longer warm to the touch. Leaky circuit? Bad wiring? Need it fixed.

There’s only currently one power outlet in one of the bedrooms. We need addition of 2 more outlets as the room will be turned into a home office, and will need to power desktops and other devices.

Hi all, Looking to upgrade my LED downlights - i want to replace them with something brighter (thinking ~1000lm - flush style). I have only looked at one of them, but I think they are ALL hardwired, and wondering if i can convert them all to plug & play instead for ease of future replacement. I think at least 15-20 to do (indoors) happy to source the lights myself, however open to the tradesman to supply (at the right price) Furthermore - also looking to install exhaust fans that feed to atmosphere in 2x bathrooms. Uninstall IXL Tastic in bathroom and install an exhaust fan, two infrared heating lamps, and a downlight in its place. Switches and wiring already in place. IXL Tastic has a cutout 28 cms square. Exhaust fan will require a 29 cm dia circular cutout. Power socket to be installed for the fan in the roof if one not in place already.

Hi, Need two jobs done. 1. Remove and install new 3-in-1 fan/light/heat bathroom fixture. Essentially take out old one, cut plaster to the new one size, install and wire up. Can connect to the existing wires as both units are 3 gang wall switch (see photos). 2. Reconnect outdoor awning which has moved locations. Existing j-box in roof, need roughly 10m of wiring to connect from this j-box to electric awning outside. So will need to drill a hole in the fascia board and feed the cable through. Need licenced electrician and can pay cash on site. Free anytime. Parts needed will be 10m of cable and new j-box or other way to connect the wires to the awning
