We’re getting our insulation installed on Monday the 15th of September, and have been told we need to replace our old 4 Halogen with 4 new LED to reduce heat around the insulation. The Issue: The cover for a 90-degree corner joiner on our black ceiling track lighting system has come off and is now missing. This has left the internal wiring terminals exposed, which is a potential safety concern and looks unprofessional and unfinished. The Job: The task is to make the track light corner safe and aesthetically complete again. The scope of work will involve: 1. Safely accessing the high ceiling (a suitable ladder is required). 2. Inspecting the exposed electrical connection to ensure it is safe and secure. 3. Sourcing and supplying a new, compatible black corner cover for the track lighting system. 4. Correctly installing the new cover so that it is secure and sits flush, concealing all wiring. Please note: The successful contractor MUST source and supply the correct replacement cover. The cost for this part must be included in your final offer, as we do not have a spare. Requirements: - MUST be a fully licensed and insured WA Electrician. This is essential for assessing and working on the exposed electrical component. - You must have your own tools, including an appropriate A-frame ladder suitable for a high commercial ceiling. - Experience with commercial track lighting systems is highly desirable to help identify and source the correct part. Hi I need two additional electrical outlets installed in a loft space - already powered. One is under an air conditioner as shown so access to power should be ok The other is near a desk with an existing outlet on the wall to the left so also hoping access to power is ok installing festoon lights on a balcony as shown … need a ladder - keen for it to zig zag overhead—- from balcony railing overhead to above the glass sliding door … material to drill hooks into is metal . Electrical outlet is already in place for this so can just be plugged in

I need an experienced auto-electrician or caravan/solar expert to help me diagnose/check/remedy my portable solar panel setup. I want to increase solar power input and battery storage to my caravan when I'm travelling 'off grid', so I have setup a portable solar panel system; this is fully separate to the caravan's existing 400w roof-mounted solar panels. The solar power setup that comes with the caravan has 400w solar roof panels that feed directly to the van's lithium batteries via a Redarc Manager 30 BMS. To augment that supply, I have 3 x separate portable solar panels (with a total output of 590w), that I setup when stationary/camping. These panels feed to the caravan batteries via their own regulator/controller; the feed is direct to the batteries, bypassing the van's Redarc management system, so the two systems are not connected. The problem I have is that the portable panels work for a while (delivering increased amperage to the batteries over and above that generated by the van's roof panels) but after a while they seem to cut out and I get zero amps delivery, even in full sun. Could be the MPPT controller/regulator is acting up or some of my connections, not sure! So - I need help with isolating the problem and remedy! If you are good at diagnosis and know one end of a multi-meter from the other, an hour or two on-site should be sufficient for the task. I will have the panels setup ready for inspection.

Ceiling plasterwork needs to be made good in one room where light fittings have been changed. In a second room the ceiling plaster needs repairing before the light fitting can be replaced.

I have a telephone port in the centre of the apartment that I need troubleshooting to enable NBN connection. I am currently using the telephone port at the back of the apartment. I believe it needs to be jumpered from krone box just outside our apartment door to extend to this port in the kitchen. That way we have 2 working telephone ports.

10 year old new build house with too many circuits all on one breaker. Using the toaster and kettle at the same time causes breaker to go off

I am looking to have either an exterior light installed or failing that, a power point so i can plug my own light in. There is power going to the air-conditioning unit outside that I am hoping can be tapped into. Otherwise there is a powerpoint inside the apartment just inside the sliding door. shown in the 3rd photo Obviously needs to be done by a qualified electrician. Existing smoke alarm beeps all the time

My existing hard wired smoke alarm has broken off the base plate. Existing unit is discontinued. I have a new unit & base already, just need a sparky to install and connect to mains power.

Plummer has checked the hot water system today saying it is an electrical problem, see photo attached
