My fathers recliner is being temperamental and we suspect it's the loose cord because when we hold it straight, the remote works fine. My guitar doesn't work (sometimes makes very loud screaches) when plugged into the amplifier. A friend has taken a look to determine there is a poor solder point. See attached image.

Current Status: • The old Miele oven has already been uninstalled and pulled out of the cavity. • I believe the previous setup was a direct hardwired connection. • The new replacement is an ALDI Stirling 80L Built-In Oven, which I believe comes pre-fitted with a 15-amp power plug. What I think needs to be done: 1. Convert the existing hardwired wall connection inside the cavity into a 15-amp surface socket (power point). 2. Test the line/isolation switch. 3. Slide the new Stirling oven into the vacant under-bench space and secure it to the cabinetry frame. 4. Test the unit to ensure it powers on correctly. 5. Issue an electronic Certificate of Compliance (eCoC) as required by SA regulations.

Hi there, I'm looking to have some minor concrete work done at my house in Torrensville to make room for a new heat pump hot water system. The unit is about 640 mm wide, and I'm hoping to install it in the narrow passageway down the side of our house. The problem is there's a raised concrete strip running along the wall, which means the unit would sit quite far out into the passageway. I'm wondering whether it would be possible to either: Extend the concrete to create a level base for the unit to sit on, flush with the existing strip. Cut out a section of the existing concrete so the unit can sit closer to the wall. I've attached a photo so you can see what I mean. Would this be something you'd be able to help with? I'm not sure which option would be more practical, so I'd be keen to get your advice and an idea of what each might cost.
