1. Fault-find a power circuit that keeps tripping A power circuit servicing the kitchen/fridge area and laundry has suddenly started tripping at the switchboard. There are approximately 3 GPOs/power points on this circuit We suspect the GPO behind the fridge may be faulty, but would like the circuit properly tested rather than assuming this is the cause The fridge will need to be pulled forward to access the GPO The problem started suddenly while renovation work has been taking place, so there may also be a damaged/loose cable or connection somewhere Please fault-find, repair/replace the faulty GPO or wiring as required, and test the circuit 2. Temporarily disconnect/move electrical cables from timber framing We have termite-damaged timber framing being repaired by a builder. There are electrical cables currently running through/along the affected timber that need to be safely isolated, disconnected and moved clear of the framing so the builder can remove and replace the damaged timber. There are two locations: Garage wall — currently opened up and framing exposed Laundry wall — affected timber also contains/runs alongside electrical cable Photos attached. The intention is not necessarily to remove the whole circuit — just make the wiring safe and clear of the timber being replaced.
