Replace Plug-In Hot Water System with Hardwired Connection & Timer I require a licensed electrician to hardwire my Rheem Stellar electric hot water system. Current setup: Hot water system is currently connected via a standard 10A plug and lead into a GPO. There is an existing timer already installed at the switchboard that I would like the hot water system connected to. The GPO is to remain in place (not required to be removed). Work required: Remove the existing plug from the hot water system. Install a new dedicated circuit and appropriately rated circuit protection at the switchboard (if required). Hardwire the hot water system to the switchboard via the existing timer. Run approximately 15 metres of new cable under the house (easy access available). The purpose of this work is to allow the hot water system to operate on the existing timer so it heats primarily during daylight hours, maximising the use of my solar and battery system. Please include all labour and any standard materials required in your quote. Licensed electricians only.

Re-attach two wires that link the motor to foot pedal. 240v cable is undamaged. junction box housing is not serviceable. 2 wires - 1 x black 1 x white run from the motor to junction box. Had to create new task to add new photo's....

My old 60mm cooktop is broken and is hard wired (along with my oven and has its own separate fuse). I have a new cooktop but it’s got a normal electrical plug.
