The Issue: Two recessed LED downlights at the front of our store have stopped working. The Job: The task is to replace the two faulty LED downlights. The scope of work includes: 1. Safely accessing the light fittings in the ceiling (a suitable ladder is required - ceiling height: 3.5 meters). 2. Diagnosing the fault for each light (e.g., failed LED unit or faulty driver). 3. This ceiling wiring needs to be brought up to date as it currently outputs a female “SM 2 Pin Plug”. The replacement Downlight pictured connects to a power outlet, so assuming the wiring needs to be updated to a power outlet.

Two pendants need installing in the place of down lights. The down lights are in a grid of four so we will disconnect two. We also want to add two dimmers - one for the new pendants and another for separate lights that are on their own switch. We have all the fittings. The pendants are made out of papier mache and coffee beans, so not heavy but not paper light.
