We have a couple of machines sitting on stainless steel tables in our warehouse. We’ve noticed that when the stainless steel tables are touching each other, we can get an electric shock when touching the machine and the table at the same time. The machines don’t appear to have an earth wire, so we need a licensed electrician to come out, test everything and work out exactly what’s causing it. The RCD labelled “Protected Power” (C20, 30mA) trips the instant I switch it on, so all power points are dead. Lighting circuit is fine. Cause is known: insecticide spray went into one power point and the tripping started immediately after. The RCD has been off since and I haven’t touched the outlet. What I need: the affected outlet inspected and replaced, and the circuit tested.

I currently have a Martec Contour 2 connected to a 3 gang switch and the fan exhaust is not working so needs to be replaced. The main bathroom lights and lights on Martec unit are on the same switch.
