My current switchboard is very old, has asbestos backing, and still uses ceramic/rewireable fuses. Every night the power trips and I have to reset a small switch manually. I also need help fixing a switch in the kitchen area, and I have a pool light that works but is currently floating in the water — it needs to be secured or properly mounted. I need an electrician to do some tasks at home. These tasks can take a couple of hours at max. List of tasks include installing new power points, running cable for the water heater and replacing some old power point with new ones. I need the hourly charge to keep it simple and anything they install like new cables, power points I will pay it separately. As we are moving the water heater, it can be done before so the electricity is available at the new location.

Hi all, we are looking for help with what we suspect is an electrical issue. We live in a two-storey house and our laundry is located downstairs. Every time we turn on the laundry lights we hear a noticeable buzzing-crackling noise. The noise gets even louder upstairs. This issue has been going on for quite some time and we are concerned it might be related to electrical wiring. It functionally works but annoying to experience.
