The existing decking is treated pine in poor condition, the joists may be salvageable but will need to be checked if they are useable and if not are to be replaced. All decking boards will need to replaced as a minimum. Quote to include supply of all new quality treated pine decking and any necessary joists, all fixings and moisture proofing materials. High quality fixings suitable for use in near ocean environment are required. Sealing and finishing of deck to be included included in the quote. All Decking is to be install in continuous lengths with no joints. Border (picture) framing is to be included as an option. Deck levels to match existing, flush with paving as needed to ensure no trip hazards exist. All materials and workmanship are to be guaranteed by installer.for at least 2 years - with details of materials intended for use to be supplied with quote. All old boards and materials need to be disposed of by the contractor. We require the removal of our existing decking sealer and re-oiling of the deck, there are two sections. The first being approximately 15m2 , which is next to a pool. Cleaning and oiling will need to be careful next to the pool so it doesn't enter the water. The second section is 28m2.
