Hi! My gaming PC needs a motherboard and power supply swap. A local repair shop diagnosed it: the old power supply blew and damaged a chip on the motherboard. I've already bought the new parts. New parts (supplied by me, still boxed): - MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI motherboard - Corsair CX750 power supply Existing parts to move across: - Ryzen 5 3500X CPU + cooler - 16GB DDR4 RAM - ASUS GeForce RTX graphics card - Storage drive(s) What I need done: 1. Remove the old Galax A320M motherboard and power supply 2. Install the new motherboard and power supply, moving all parts across 3. Clean off the old thermal paste and apply fresh paste (please bring some, I'll cover the cost) 4. Connect all cables, including front panel and USB, with tidy cable management 5. Boot test: confirm the BIOS detects the CPU, RAM, GPU and drives 6. Get Windows booting and help with activation if needed Optional: enable TPM and Secure Boot so I can upgrade to Windows 11. If any other part turns out faulty, please let me know before doing any extra work. Please only offer if you have experience building or repairing PCs. Reviews for similar jobs preferred. The job can be done at my place in Pimpama, or I can drop the PC off nearby. Flexible on timing.

My Lenovo computer keeps randomly disconnecting from Wi-Fi. Sometimes it works perfectly fine, then suddenly stops working. Device Manager shows a yellow warning triangle on the Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 adapter. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the adapter, disabling and enabling it, and restarting the computer. Sometimes this temporarily fixes it, but the problem keeps coming back. Looking for someone experienced with computers to come out, diagnose the issue and hopefully fix it permanently.

I’ve just purchased a brand-new Aftershock PC but forgot to order the RGB light strips when I had it built. I’ve now ordered the two RGB strips separately and am looking for someone experienced with building/working on PCs to come and install them for me. I’m not very handy when it comes to working inside PCs, so I’d rather have someone who knows what they’re doing. From what I understand, one connects around the motherboard and the other around the GPU, but I’ll have both strips ready to go. Should be a pretty straightforward job for someone experienced with PCs - I’d estimate around 30 minutes or so. Just looking for someone who can install them neatly and make sure everything is connected and working correctly.

We need someone who can facilitate the removal of a Q-SYS core, which is a simple job of unscrewing the unit from an audio-visual rack in the AV room of a hotel and then delivering it to the repair centre where it can be assessed. You would need to have only a very basic understanding of audio visual to help, and we are able to talk you through the removal of the unit before delivering to another part of Brisbane for the assessment and repair.

My computer liquid cooler has failed I think, and the PC will no longer boot up past the fail screen, forcing it to go into the setup screen when I press F1. I think it is trying to protect the motherboard from overheating which makes sense. The fans are all spinning, but last night the ones at the front were spinning at 1000rpm, leading me to think it's pushing the front fan into overdrive to compensate for the AIO not working. The AIO liquid cooler showed no activity in the F1 boot up screen leading me to think it has failed and needs to be replaced. Job is for someone to come out this Saturday with the correct or better quality part, and replace the damaged part or remove the liquid cooling system, and install a noctua nh-d15 or similar quality fan cooler.
