Hi, I’m looking for someone experienced with timber maintenance to clean, prep and re-oil the timber fencing at my mum’s house. The fence is a horizontal timber slat style and runs around a fairly large section of the property. Some sections still have decent colour, while others have faded and greyed from weather exposure. The job would involve: * Cleaning and preparing the timber before oiling * Light sanding where required * Applying exterior timber/decking oil evenly * Applying the appropriate number of coats for a good finish * Taking care around the driveway, grass, letterbox and surrounding areas * Re-oiling all accessible fencing shown in the attached photos We are happy to provide the oil and any required materials, and would appreciate your recommendation on the best product and colour to use to restore it close to its original darker timber appearance. Ideally looking for someone who has experience restoring or oiling outdoor timber fencing and can advise on the best preparation process as well. Looking for an experienced carpenter/handyman to carefully remove approximately 6 external timber louvre/privacy screens from the upper-level windows of my house so the painters can paint them properly. Once painting is completed, I need the screens refitted securely in their original positions. The painters will be onsite and can assist with removing/lowering and refitting the screens. They will also provide and leave the trestles and planks required for access, so you will not need to provide these. The job involves careful removal without damaging the screens, windows or surrounding walls, keeping/marking the screens and fixings so they return to the correct positions, and returning after painting to reinstall them. Any obviously deteriorated or unsuitable fixings should be replaced as required. Photos attached showing the screens and access. I’m looking for an experienced carpenter or handyman with good timber repair experience to repair a timber privacy screen at the front of my house. The screen is approximately 2 metres wide × 2.2 metres high. The horizontal privacy slats are generally in good condition, so I would like to retain and reuse them rather than replace the entire screen. The main issue is deterioration/rot in the structural timber frame, particularly the top horizontal rail, bottom horizontal rail and one side frame. There is visible rot at the end of the top rail where it meets the wall. Work required: Remove and replace the deteriorated top rail, bottom rail and damaged side framing. Reuse the existing horizontal slats and any other sound timber wherever possible. Use suitable exterior-grade treated timber Match the existing timber dimensions and overall appearance as closely as reasonably possible. Use appropriate exterior-grade fixings. Prime/seal all replacement timber, including cut ends and joints, to help prevent future moisture damage and rot. Pay particular attention to the area where the timber meets the wall and make sure the replacement is properly protected from water penetration. Leave the repaired screen straight, secure and ready for final painting. Remove and dispose of the damaged/rotted timber. Photos are attached showing the screen and the damaged areas. I am after a cabinet maker or experienced handyman to install a bathroom vanity cabinet for a tiled bathroom. The tiling will be completed by this weekend, and I need the cabinet installed preferably early next week. The cabinet is 900 mm wide standard cabinet, it comes assembled. Attached are the photos of floor standing cabinet and the bathroom layout. The bathroom photo is before tiling, as tiling will be completed this weekend. Plumbing will be done by a separate plumbing trade.

I have 5 timber panels 2700x600mm I’d like placed on the wall fitting in between the skirting boards - the height is approximately 2350mm. The panels are 2700mm so they need to be cut to fit (I don’t have equipment to do that). I have the screws and glue that bunnings recommend

Supply and install new outdoor wooden steps. There are 12 steps that need replacing. In most cases, the risers are sound and can be reused, but all treads will need replacing. The current tread is composed of 2 x wooden sleepers. At the top of the staircase the sleepers are 900 mm x 200 mm x 70 mm. At the bottom of the staircase they are 1200 mm x 200 mm x 70 mm. The new materials should be suitable for outdoor use such as H4 treated sleepers.

Hi, We had an air tasker come and install our kitchenette and they have messed all of it up so it all needs to be moved down and reinstalled to fix the bench top.

We have 5 wooden posts and 2 door frames that have been chewed on. They need epoxy or wood filler, sanding and painting. Equipment not included but will be reimbursed.
