We are renovating a house with an exposed ceiling and Oregon beams. The beams need to be wire brushed and sanded. This is not a technically difficult task but needs to be done well and requires a person with attention to detail. The Oregon is soft and cleans up nicely with a wire brush but a good dust mask/ respirator will be essential. It will suit a carpenter or painter’s apprentice looking for some extra income on the side and the job can be tackled in one hit or a few hours each day.
