I have two very large wooden sleepers that I need cut to size to be able to transport to my business. I live in an apartment complex; however I have access to a large loading dock at the back of the building which has power. I don't have any tools or equipment to perform the job!

We are wanting to stain the wooden floor of our carport (and the small deck that leads into the house) so that it is all one uniform colour. Carport wood is untreated, and the strain near the front door has nearly gone. There are some white paint splotches than we would need your help to sand off, but I can also assist with this if need be. We have a deck straining brush (long handle) and will provide the stain. We don’t need it sanded back, the wood is untreated so should just be ok to be stained as is.

We have an external timber staircase. It's in good shape but one of the supporting timber joists needs replacing due to water damage. Not urgent and only minor, but still needs replacing. It's probably about 1.5 metres long. And it's about 2-3m above the ground. Easy to access. You would need to be a skilled carpenter or builder with experience doing this sort of thing.
