Replacing my current ~53–54 cm freestanding oven/cooker with a 60 cm model. Need the left benchtop and its base cabinets moved left and the benchtop trimmed so there’s a 600 mm clear gap for the new cooker. Location: Nunawading What needs to be done 1. Remove base cabinets on the left side of the current freestanding oven. 2. Remove the left section of benchtop above those cabinets. 3. Reposition that benchtop further left along the wall (towards the door frame) to create space for the 60 cm cooker. 4. Reinstall base cabinets under the benchtop, starting from the new left edge. 5. Cut the benchtop at the end near the cooker so that, once reinstalled, there is a 600 mm gap between: • right edge of left benchtop, and • left edge of right benchtop (where the new 60 cm freestanding oven will sit). 6. Apply silicone sealant along the top edge of the benchtop where it meets the splashback. Assumptions / exclusions • Carpentry/benchtop and cabinet work only. • No plumbing or electrical work. • Freestanding oven will be disconnected/moved by me (or via a separate task); tasker doesn’t need to handle the appliance unless agreed. • Existing cabinets and benchtop are reused, not replaced • Small adjustments to align doors/drawers after reinstallation included. • Clean‑up of offcuts and reasonable job‑site tidy expected. The six posts are all rotten to varying degrees. See photos for clearer understanding of the situation. Old ones need removing and replaced with new posts of the same size. Basic carpentry skills required only. I can send more photos if required. You will need to supply the new treated pine posts as well as remove and install. Only 5 of the 6 posts are pictured here.

I need a benchtop installed in my small laundry. I removed the laundry sink to create space for a side-by-side dryer and washer, and now I need a counter or bench to complete the setup. I’ve included some pictures of my laundry and general inspiration. The benchtop will need structural support as I’ll be placing heavy items on it often. I’ll provide the materials.

Hi everyone After a handyman/ all rounder. Someone with experience in repairing water leaks, changing door handles, installing lock boxes, bit of framing, installing doors, working with cool room panel material, replacing roofing sheets, installing flashing, etc. Would prefer paying a day rate, work will be mainly in Mickleham.

Build wooden plank partitioning wall. The ceiling height is 2.7 m and plaster is square set. Please see attached photo. I just need partition with 4-5 planks. Sand and colour will be done by someone else. This is a new build nothing to remove. Attached is the photo of the room.

Carpenter Needed – Alfresco Preparation for Tiling & Outdoor Kitchen Looking for an experienced carpenter to complete some work in our alfresco area. Work required: ● Build/box up the alfresco floor area, approximately 4m x 5.5m, ready for tiling. ● The existing floor is approximately 5–7cm lower than the house floor. We want the finished tiled floor to be approximately the same level as the house floor. ● Frame the back section of the alfresco, approximately 2.7m high x 5m wide. ● The framing needs to be suitable so we can plaster the inside and render the outside. ● This area is being prepared for a future outdoor kitchen. A small cabinet installation,might take an hour or two to finish .

A kitchen cabinet door - perspex - about 114cm high (so a bit heavy and bulky) needs to be rehung on 3 existing hinges - we have the fixing screws. The cabinet is above a benchtop. There are two other kitchen cabinet doors where the hinges need adjusting and another hinge on a laundry cupboard that needs to be re-clipped.

I’m looking for an experienced handyman, carpenter or cabinet installer to repair and reinforce a floating timber shelf in my home. The shelf has started pulling away from the wall after supporting bottles of alcohol. It appears the adhesive or existing fixing has failed, and I don’t want it simply glued back into place. I’m looking for someone who can: * Inspect the existing installation. * Properly secure and reinforce the shelf using the most suitable method (e.g. concealed brackets, additional fixings, or another long-term solution). * Ensure the shelf is level and capable of safely supporting the weight of alcohol bottles and glassware. * Supply any required fixings/materials (please advise if there will be any additional material costs). I need a square 20mill timber board that needs to be cut i to a circle for a base to fit a marble table top. Marble top is 1200mm base to be 1000mm

I need a clean circular hole cut into the side of this steel cupboard. I cut a rough hole in it myself to feed the washine machine hose through, but I need a cleaner hole cut in before I move out. The laundry cupboard has one of those slim stainless-steel laundry troughs with a storage cabinet underneath, next to the washing machine. The washing machine will be moved out of the apartment on Friday 7 Aug so I'd like someone to come on Saturday 8 Aug.
