Hi! 😊 We’re looking for someone to quote on a small project to turn a nook in our home into a coffee bar. We’re after custom cabinetry and a benchtop to be supplied and installed. We’ve already purchased the fridge that will sit underneath, which is 86cm tall. Measurements: * Total width of the nook: 1720mm * Space from the fridge to the wall: 1200mm * Fridge height: 860mm We’re thinking something similar to the inspiration photos attached, ideally with either: * Option 1: One drawer and two cupboards * Option 2: Cupboards only For the benchtop, we’re thinking of a laminate finish similar to the inspiration photos. However, we’re open to other materials and options depending on the price. If possible, we’d appreciate an estimated quote for both cabinetry options, including supply and installation. Hello! We’re looking for an experienced cabinetmaker or carpenter to modify our existing kitchen cabinetry. The work includes: * Dishwasher: Create an opening in the existing cabinetry to accommodate a freestanding dishwasher. * Microwave: Create an opening beneath the benchtop to accommodate a microwave, with one or two drawers installed underneath. * Kitchen island: Remove the small, lowered benchtop section from the island and leave a neat finish. * Under-sink cabinetry: Replace two damaged internal shelves beneath the sink. Timing: Ideally, we’d like all works completed before 19 October. However, the dishwasher opening is the priority and must be completed before this date, as tradespeople are scheduled to remove the existing floor coverings and sand the floorboards on 19 October. We’re looking for someone experienced in cabinetry modifications who can achieve a neat, professional finish while working with the existing kitchen. Looking for someone experienced with wall mounting to securely install 2 stainless steel shelves above my coffee station. I’ll attach a photo of the actual unit/coffee machine and a render showing roughly how I want the shelves positioned. The shelves need to be: * centred properly on the wall * level and securely mounted * with the lower shelf around 2–4 inches above the top of the coffee machine * evenly spaced above each other Please note the shelves look slightly off-centre in the render, but I want them properly centred to the wall in real life. Would prefer someone with experience mounting shelves and checking wall type/fixings to make sure they’re secure.

Our shed floor needs replacing. We can strip out the existing floor but we need help doing a couple rip cuts on plywood panels. It will just be placing and screwing down the three panels onto the existing joists. Extra if you can pick up some panels 2 X (2400x1200mm, 21mm F11 treated pine structural) and bring them to Prahran. Materials will be covered.

I need someone to assemble a vidaXL stainless-steel BBQ sideboard for my own backyard in Prahran 3181, Australia. The cabinet (SKU 51051, EAN 8719883680934) measures 120 × 50 × 95–97 cm, with an 85 cm tabletop, 20 cm adjustable legs, a 10 cm backsplash, two sliding doors, and storage space. Assembly instructions are provided. The parts are on hand; I have some tools but am unsure exactly which tools are needed. Assembly is preferred around 8 October 2026, with flexible timing if needed.

I have a problem with a leaking balcony into my garage. I will be organising this to be repaired by a builder but will first get a structural engineer to fully assess the area and work out what scope the project requires. However he needs the ceiling to be opened up so all areas with mould are exposed. See red box on photo for area that needs removing. Additionally the engineer won’t do any invasive testing like probing joists to check the condition of the wood. I would appreciate if this could be done as part of the job.

Fix my bed please- it squeaks like crazy and it’s driving me insane! Give me your best advice / plan It’s the bed in the picture, yes I know it’s a selfie.. don’t judge me haha Wooden frame, needs longer screws for header and base, there’s 2 holes but a third is possible as well just can’t get to it easy and may also require some sort of cutting wood (maybe) Also screw slats in to side boards so that they don’t move either. My availability is this Sun to Monday before 10am. Or Tuesday/Wednesday any time during the day. Budget Neg. I don’t know what it costs to fix a bed. Honestly don’t mind the cost.. would rather pay more for a good job done well with good communication. 75 was my initial offering. I don’t have any of the screws/equipment needed. Hence the need for someone to come and do it for me pretty please. I’ll even throw in a coffee from the cafe around the corner while you work. Looking for an experienced handyman/carpenter/painter to repair and refresh the front entrance porch. Work required: * Remove the rotten/damaged timber quad/trim under the front edge of the porch/eave and install replacement quad. I already have the new quad. * Scrape back and properly prepare the existing black coating on top of the porch roof. * Remove loose/flaking material and prepare/seal minor joints or cracks where required. * Recoat the roof surface with a suitable heavy-duty black exterior waterproof/membrane coating for a neat, durable and watertight finish. * Clean up after completion. This is primarily a labour job. I will pay separately for the waterproof coating, primer/sealant and any other reasonable materials required. Please let me know what products you recommend before purchasing. Photos show the affected timber and roof surface. I’m looking for someone who will prepare the surface properly rather than simply paint over the existing coating.

I have purchased 2 × IKEA PAX wardrobes, each 1000 W × 580 D × 2010 H, and I need an experienced carpenter/plasterer to turn them into a fully built-in wardrobe appearance, similar to the photo attached. The PAX units will be positioned together in an existing wall recess. I need the wardrobes put together, framing & plastering, and finishing work with cornice and skirting board completed to house them. I will do the painting.
