Hi everyone! I’m looking for someone to neatly install fairy lights along the underside of the timber beams of my outdoor pergola in Maribyrnong. Job details: * Pergola measures approximately 8m × 5m. * I have 2 sets of fairy lights, each 19.2m long (38.4m total, 400 LED lights). * I’d like them installed in straight lines along the beams, from end to end. * No zigzagging or draping — I’m after a clean, professional finish. * Lights are already supplied. * You’ll need to bring your own ladder and suitable outdoor clips or fixings. I need help assembling and installing a motorised louvred pergola with attached wind-break blinds. This is a factory kit with full manufacturer diagrams (attached simplified summary available too). I’ll be on site to help as a third pair of hands, and the manufacturer can be contacted for technical support if needed. Scope: • Fix base plates with expansion bolts, erect and level 6 columns • Cut drainage outlets on relevant columns (per plan) • Fit outer frame, thread wiring through columns • Assemble louvred roof frame and install louvre blades (with LED connections where fitted) • Fit end covers, connect blades to drive shaft (left with slight play, not fully tightened) • Install push-rod actuator motor, manual override, and transformer • Assemble and install 3 roller shutter blind panels (2×3.4m + 1×2.5m), drill mounting holes, level to tolerance, connect zipper guide • Licensed electrician required on the job to terminate motor wiring (pergola + blinds) to mains/isolator per AS/NZS wiring rules and confirm RCM compliance • Pair remotes to motors, test operation What’s supplied: Full kit, motors, remotes, fixings, manufacturer diagrams, plain-English install summary, manufacturer support contact. Build a costaway pergola today with my husband’s help if needed. Use a solid piece of timber hardwood and drive it into the actual ground as far as you can to then mount that footing of the Pegola to the actual piece of timber so you know it’s structurally sound. Supply & install 6.6m × 3m patio cover/ pergola – Charlestown

I need some leaks in my pergola to be investigated and fixed, if an issue is found. I also need a general inspection of my roof and roof gutters for any potential leak issues, including cleaning of gutters as needed. I also identified a clogged gutter downpipe that needs to be unclogged.

Description: Water is leaking heavily through our low-pitch terracotta tile verandah/pergola roof. The overall roof area is compact, roughly 5m wide by 1.8m deep. The main issue is in the back-left corner (as pictured), where the flashing has lifted/perished and tiles have shifted or are missing beneath a PVC downpipe elbow, leaving an open void where water enters directly. Scope of work: - Inspect the leak area and the rest of the 5m x 1.8m roof section. - Supply and install appropriate flashing (lead/apron/soaker) properly integrated with the brickwork and downpipe exit. - Re-seat and replace any missing, cracked, or displaced terracotta tiles (i have 4-5 spares) - Check surrounding joins and ensure the penetration is completely watertight. - Tidy up and remove any job debris. Requirements: -Experienced roof plumber or licensed roofer - Must bring own ladder, tools, and required materials (flashing, sealants, replacement terracotta tiles if needed).
