Hi I need a new roof designed. I need plans and a survey to submit to council and to use for quotes. I need a whole new roof with a different height pitch to give more attic space. I also would like the new roof to cover the Alfresco area which the current roof doesn’t. We currently have tile, I’d prefer a corrugated roof for the new one. I’m looking for the plans to be drawn up and the roof designed. I want three sets of drawings 1. A simple new roof plan for a 36 degree pitch and gable walls. 2. The same but with add ons that mean I can convert it in the future if I have more resources later on. The add ons are I’d it to have natural light through whatever the council will allow like gable windows and deluxe or a dormer window. Plumbing brought up to the middle front and rear of the roof space so a bathroom and art sink could be added later. 3. The same as no.2 but with a stairs included. One possible place is in the store room space. The interior wall to the garage may need to be moved to allow for the space needed for stairs. Thanks.

We’re looking for someone with experience in drafting or a similar field to create a site plan for a shed/office we’re planning to build in our backyard. We have the shed dimensions ready and are currently completing a retaining wall that will need to be included in the drawing. I am renovating a house, and need some designs drawn that include removing a lot of internal walls, so I need someone with experience in this field, to make sure my drawings can become a reality

I’m looking to hire someone to provide a draft drawing for a potential renovation. The current opening is 3.5 meters, and I’d like to extend it to 4.8 meters. The beam will support the load of a single-story roof as well as a ceiling load, and it will connect with two additional beams. This is purely for conceptual and planning purposes, just to get an idea of the beam size and feasibility. The height of ceiling is 2.4meter There’s no commitment beyond this draft, and I’d ideally like to get it as soon as possible, even today if someone is available!

We are applying for a permit with the council to get a front fence installed. We have a heritage overlay properly so council approval is required. Our original application was declined and noted that we require: 1. A site plan showing the location of the current boundary fence and the location of any proposed boundary fences, including front fences. 2. A revised 1:50 elevation of the proposed front fence, showing: A) Dimensions, including posts, pickets and spacing between the pickets; and B) The proposed colour and finish. We have quotes from some fence companies we can share to support with this mock up for the council. Please advise if you need more detail.

Our rangehood has a downdraft when it is windy.

We are getting a shed built & need to draft up the; Site plan Orientation of the roads etc. Location of the shed. Elevations - it’s just a colourbond shed. How the drainage is going to work ( we are going to use tanks and aggy drains) Document the footings as per engineering - being just add the back sheet with the footing detail Document the shed design - copy over the shed companies information on how the framing goes together. - Shed size is 13 x 8 - google maps shows the current buildings on site - footing detail is from engineer - all details on shed from shed company - drainage - is very simple - two down pipes 100mm storm water 12m out from building & into drainage in paddock - water photos of site (8 x 13 connected to old shed) - photos of frames and footings of another shed that’s the same, being built in portals of 5m bays. Very easy! (We don’t have any current plans for site, so to work out current building will have to use google maps)

Old apartment, require someone who knows windows to replace draft stoppers in a couple of windows to improve insulation. There is a bit of light corrosion so it’s been a bit tricky for me to remove the old glue and re fit properly feel like someone with the right tools will be able to get it sorted. Two windows, about 800x1200 each. If I can also get someone who knows how to improve insulation given how thin the glass is, and can clean the channels and frames while they’re at it, I’ll pay additional. In addition to that, if you can knock up fly screens for then, feel free to include. Thanks Thanks in advance

Looking for qualified drafter for renovation of home to generate plan

Hi, need a licensed draftsman\architect to design the plans for the below: 1. Renovate current bathroom (wall to be removed between the powder room and bathroom) 2. Add an ensuite to the master bedroom (wall needs to be removed between 2 rooms to accomodate the bathroom) 3. Remove the entire wall or just a piece of the wall between the living room and kitchen to make it open plan. At this moment, I am after a fee proposal and we can take this up further.

I think I want a backdraft damper installed in the ceiling duct of a bathroom exhaust fan. The current fan lets cold air in overnight and I want to reduce draughts. For reference here's a photo of the existing fan with the cover removed. If I'm not on the right path here I'm open to advice too.
