Scope of work: ∙ Trim 2 x supplied doors to fit 1900mm high opening (approx 410mm off each, cap cut ends using spare framing timber on site) ∙ Hang doors in existing framed opening (approx 1480mm wide) ∙ Shim and pack as needed to sit square and plumb ∙ Fit hinges, flush bolts (top and bottom on inactive leaf), astragal strip between leaves, and matching black pulls or handles (hardware on site) ∙ Paint both doors matte black, 2 coats both sides and all edges (Tasker to supply paint and rollers; happy to reimburse on receipt or add to task price) ∙ Make good any minor touch-ups around the opening ∙ Clean up and remove offcuts On site: ∙ 2 x solid core doors with frosted vertical glass strips (800mm wide x 2310mm tall, currently white) ∙ Timber cutter and spare framing timber for cut caps ∙ All door hardware ∙ Power, step ladder, workbench, good lighting Not on site: black paint and rollers (Tasker to bring). The doors sit in a frequently photographed area of a professional film studio, so finish matters. Looking for consistent 3 to 4mm reveals, plumb hanging, and a clean centre meeting line. I need someone to remove existing, supply, and install new chrome internal door hinges and strike plates on 7 internal wooden doors. You will need to supply the chrome hinges and strike plates similar to the bunnings screenshots attached.

Looking for a handyman or carpenter to install an internal folding door (Australian Folding Doors brand) in a doorway in my home office. The door kit is already purchased and comes with installation instructions. The job will involve: • Installing the folding door track to the top of the doorway frame • Mounting the folding door panels and brackets • Installing the receiving channel on the opposite side of the doorway • Ensuring the door opens and closes smoothly One additional task required: There are skirting boards on both sides of the doorway that currently prevent the door from sitting flush against the wall when opened. These will need to be neatly cut/trimmed back so the folding door can sit flat against the wall. The door system installs by fixing the track to the underside of the door frame and attaching the starter brackets to the vertical jambs, as shown in the manufacturer guide.  Tools likely required: • Drill/driver • Rivet gun (or rivet attachment) • Saw or multi-tool for trimming skirting • Basic carpentry tools Door opening is standard internal doorway size. We have 2 cavities in a room. We want smaller cavity to be filled (GIB & stopped) and in other cavity a standard 2040 high door (2 panel/woodgrain finish door) to be installed and remaining cavity on top of the door to be GIB/stopped. The cavity is apprx 2350. Both cavities and door need to be painted. I have got the quote for the door - $105 from Hume doors (pick up from Mitre10 Robina). We are looking at replacing the corner windows of our vintage caravan. Currently the van has 4x round edge corner windows (see pictures 1+2), however we would like to replace these with sharp angle corners (see picture 3). We are getting the acrylic/glass cut separately and are only looking at getting the corner aluminum frame custom built.
