We removed a folding sliding door to fit our new floors and would like to add a standard door in its place. I believe the two wooden bits attached to the door frame would have to be removed. I have 4 internal doors that don't close & would like them repaired. On two doors the strike doesn't align with the latch bolt & when I removed strike screws, strike seems glued on. On one door there is no hole for the strike. One door hits the top door frame & won't close. Need own tools & materials & would love to keep/maintain original parts (if possible).
