Hello, We are looking for an experienced handyman, cabinet maker, or signage installer to re-secure a loose storefront sign at our retail store, in Westfield Pacific Fair. The Issue: Our backlit vertical "EYETESTS" sign is mounted onto a pivoting shopfront door panel. The adhesive/mounting tape on the back of the sign has failed, causing the sign frame to pull away from the door. It wobbles when the door is touched or moved, which is a safety concern and looks untidy. The Job: The task is to securely re-mount the sign to the wooden door panel. The scope of work includes: 1. Carefully pulling back or temporarily removing the sign to access the mounting surface (without damaging the internal low-voltage electrical wiring). 2. Cleaning off the old, failed adhesive tape from both the back of the sign and the wooden door surface. 3. Applying a high-quality, heavy-duty commercial mounting tape (such as 3M VHB tape) or a strong construction adhesive/silicone to the mounting surface. 4. Firmly pressing and securing the sign back onto the door panel so it sits completely flush, solid, and aligned. 5. Testing the illuminated sign to ensure it still functions correctly. Please note: The successful contractor MUST supply all necessary adhesive/mounting materials. The cost for these must be included in your final offer. Requirements: - Proven experience with signage installation, cabinetry, or general commercial property maintenance. - You must supply all your own tools and suitable commercial-grade mounting tape/adhesive. - Ability to work cleanly and professionally within a retail environment. - Public liability insurance is required.
