Looking for an experienced bricklayer or blocklayer to extend the height of an existing garden/retaining wall. Even better if you can also render the new blockwork and repair an existing rendered corner section. Scope of work * Extend the existing wall using standard Besser blocks, supplied by us. * Stack blocks flush with the existing wall, matching the current alignment. * Construct a stepped design to suit the existing wall layout. * Install breeze blocks along the top layer. * Render the new standard Besser blockwork to match the existing finish as closely as possible. * Repair damaged rendering on an existing corner section. Measurements and layout Main wall * Total length: approximately 3,300 mm. * First section example : approximately 1,200 mm high required * This section requires 7 standard blocks H x and 3 blocks L. * Remaining sections to follow a stepped design. Top layer * Approximately 12–14 breeze blocks along the top. This is 2 sections. The main section with the new heightened wall (3330mm) + 2nd shorter side (1720mm). Materials * Standard Besser blocks + Breeze decoration blocks supplied by us. * Please specify whether you can supply any other materials required, including mortar and rendering materials. Please include in your quote * Labour cost for the blockwork and breeze block installation. * Separate cost for rendering the new blockwork. * Cost to repair the existing rendered corner. * Any additional materials or equipment required. * Your availability and estimated time to complete the job. * Photos of similar blockwork or rendering jobs, if available. Just revered my trailer into a freshly rendered and painted wall.

Looking for someone to help tidy up the pillars around our outdoor patio area in Birtinya. At the moment the rendered pillars stop short of the roof, with the narrower metal posts continuing above them. We’d like to box out the top sections so the pillars look like they continue all the way up to the roof. I’ve attached a photo of how it looks now and a mock-up of roughly what we’d like to achieve. There are 4 pillars to do and we’d like the finished result rendered to match the existing house as closely as possible. We will paint and clear waste.
