1930’s home, double brick and textured render with large cracks in walls which open and close in winter vs summer. Approx 6 wall surfaces that need filling/repairing. Some cracks lead to gaps in the cornices too which would be good to address at the same time. Would need a flexible compound to fill the crack before patching render. Flexible on price dependent on skillset and extent of repair.

Hey Airtaskers, I'm after someone to come install as set of IKEA Skytta Doors over my PAX wardrobe (already installed). As per the attached image, I would like the wall between the wardrobe and the door to be framed out, plasterboard and rendered so the Skytta doors have something to butt up to. We have a custom wall in our backyard with tiles. Has been fine for circa 10 years, but some of the tiles at the bottom have come off. Need to re-glue/re-attach (but also need to check if any reason this happened and fix the source of the problem - eg, if water is coming through a gap, might need patching or silicone).

Due to the recent heavy rain, the property has suffered some extensive leaking in various parts. The insurance claim was rejected, stating some areas that needed to be fixed prior to repairs being approved. I will attach parts of the report and photos to the job. It is a double story townhouse.

Handyman tasks : We have a series of handyman jobs that need to be completed. - The biggest job is a short length of brickwork that needs to be rendered on a balcony. (see image). Looking for someone with experience rendering due to the design of the brick this may be a more challenging task. - The second is a gap along the length of the underside of a windowsill needs to be filled. This is largely to stop any airflow coming through or heating going out. - A stair-rod has fallen off and needs to re-affixed (see image appears was applied with liquid nails type adhesive) - A metal steel plate needs to be re-affixed onto an internal door. Will need to provide all own tools and equipment for works & please provide past examples of work if applicable. The main task is the brickwork rendering so this would be the priority.. Happy to negotiate on price.
