Hello, We are looking for a licensed plumber or a skilled handyman to replace a leaking tap at our retail store, in Rundle Mall, Adelaide. The Issue: The tap on our staff toilet basin is leaking significantly from the body/cartridge area, even when turned off. The water supply to this basin has been temporarily turned off to prevent flooding, the sink is currently out of service. The Job: The task is to restore the basin to full working order. The scope of work will involve: 1. Inspecting the existing tap to identify the cause of the leak (likely a failed ceramic cartridge, seal, or washer). 2. Performing the necessary repair (e.g., replacing the cartridge/washers) OR supplying and installing a new standard tap if the current unit is cracked or worn beyond repair. 3. Turning the water supply back on and testing the tap thoroughly to ensure a complete, leak-free installation. Please note: The successful contractor must bring all necessary tools and be prepared to supply standard replacement parts (such as washers, a cartridge, or a new standard tap if required). Please include the potential cost of a standard replacement tap in your offer.
